Fed Supply, a leading employment agency in the Greater Montreal area, is seeking an experienced Chemical Procurement Specialist to join their team. With a strong focus on supply chain and logistics, this role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of chemical products and collaborate with international customers.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical purchasing and international logistics, as well as professional experience in the chemical industry and knowledge of chemistry. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential, along with fluency in both French and English.

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of approximately $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for growth and development within the company, as well as a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities of the Chemical Procurement Specialist will include:

  • Secondary liaison with all suppliers, including negotiations, orders, and problem-solving
  • Analysis of procurement costs for the company's projects
  • Management of incoming and outgoing traffic
  • Documentation import/export
  • Verification of expense invoices

Qualifications for the role include:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical purchasing and international logistics
  • Professional experience in the chemical industry and knowledge of chemistry
  • Negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Organizational and delegation skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement and adherence to critical deadlines
