Job Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist - Chemical Industry to join our team at Fed Supply. This role will involve secondary liaison with suppliers, analysis of procurement costs, and management of incoming and outgoing traffic for one of our manufacturing sector clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for our client
  • Analyze procurement costs to identify areas for cost reduction
  • Manage inventory and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Verify expense invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Perform other tasks as requested by superiors

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in chemical purchasing and international logistics
  • Fluency in French and English to communicate with international customers and partners
  • Negotiation and communication skills to build strong relationships with suppliers
  • Organizational and delegation skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement and adherence to deadlines
