About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Control Advisor to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for guiding all activities related to fire protection, risk engineering, and risk control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site surveys at client facilities to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Produce comprehensive risk reports, including underwriting reports, risk assessments, and recommendation reports.
  • Develop and implement risk control programs for large clients, including fire protection and risk engineering initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and prioritize risk exposures and develop effective control measures.
  • Support research and development in the field of risk assessment and control, including the development of underwriting reports and risk assessments.
  • Review and assist clients in the design of building mechanics and fire protection projects.
  • Carry out site inspections and produce reports on fire protection and risk control measures.
Requirements
  • Experience in risk control, risk engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of NFPA and FM standards, as well as building construction and related codes.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
