**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal AI Scientist to join our dynamic team at Constant Contact, Inc. as a key contributor to our AI Platform team. As a Senior Principal AI Scientist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our AI capabilities, working closely with machine learning engineers and data scientists to design and implement cutting-edge AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI functionalities and integrations into our software applications and platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of a cross-functional, agile product delivery team, driving the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions.
  • Continuously research and experiment with state-of-the-art AI techniques and tools to enhance our product offerings and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Deliver scalable, sustainable, and engaging AI-powered products that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Articulate engineering design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms.
  • Influence decisions that impact entire product platforms or brands, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Plan technical direction with multi-year time horizons, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Mentor junior members of the team on best practices, architecture, and development, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience developing large-scale applications on the back-end.
  • 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML developer/practitioner, with a strong background in machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience developing systems with modern cloud computing architecture (AWS preferred).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, with experience working with relational and No-SQL databases.
  • Experience with LLM applications, including prompt engineering, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, and integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Knowledge of machine learning modeling and evaluation methodologies and workflows, and deployment of ML training and inference systems.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to digital marketing or related industries is preferred.
  • Working experience in test automation and test-driven development.
  • Experience working with Git in a CI/CD environment.
  • Ability to identify product opportunities in AI/ML space that will move the needle on our key business metrics.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, Master's or PhD preferred.
