Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal AI Scientist to join our AI Platform team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in designing and developing cutting-edge AI functionalities and integrations into our software applications and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI-powered solutions that drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Contribute to the development of our AI platform, working closely with machine learning engineers and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, experimenting with new techniques and tools to enhance our product offerings.
- Deliver high-quality, scalable, and sustainable products that meet the needs of our customers.
- Articulate technical design strategies related to scalability, performance, security, usability, and development platforms.
- Influence decisions that impact entire product platforms or brands.
- Mentor junior members of the team on best practices, architecture, and development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing large-scale applications on the back-end.
- 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML developer/practitioner.
- 5+ years of experience developing systems with modern cloud computing architecture (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java, and experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc).
- Experience with relational and No-SQL databases (e.g., ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, etc).
- Experience with LLM applications, including prompt engineering, RAG, agents, fine-tuning, and integration with existing systems and applications.
- Knowledge of machine learning modeling and evaluation methodologies and workflows, and deployment of ML training and inference systems.
- Experience applying AI/ML to digital marketing or related industries is preferred.
- Working experience in test automation and test-driven development.
- Experience working with Git in a CI/CD environment.
- Ability to identify product opportunities in AI/ML space that will move the needle on our key business metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, Master's or PhD preferred.
