Drywall Installation Specialist

At TRUST CONTRACTING COMPANY INC., we are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying and smoothing coats of plaster, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Apply and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure durability
  • Install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and panels
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to install drywall and plaster

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in drywall installation and plastering
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
