Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution

Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Load and Unload Operations

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate cargo handling and storage.

Vehicle Maintenance

Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working condition.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently.

Security and Safety Protocols

Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols.

Transportation of Hazardous Materials

Transport and handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses

AZ class license and valid driver's license.

Documentation Knowledge

Driver logbook and other relevant documentation.

Physical Demands

Ability to handle heavy loads, work in physically demanding environments, and sit for extended periods.

Personal Qualities

Flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and a hardworking attitude.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Working Conditions

FREIGHT GENIE INC. offers a permanent position with 30 hours of work per week. The primary language of work is English.
