CIMT College is looking for an experienced Paralegal instructor to teach our courses. The program is registered with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and the successful candidate will be required to follow our policies and procedures.

An Instructor Manual is provided, which includes courseware, resources, evaluations, and daily lesson plans. You will be responsible for following the manual and using the resource materials to train students with the necessary knowledge and skills to prepare them for employment in the field.

• Deliver instruction demonstrating a thorough understanding of the subject matter
• Instruct using only authorized curriculum materials
• Taught classes using various teaching methods, such as lectures, presentations, demonstrations, discussions, lab work, case studies, and independent or group projects
• Employ effective adult learning strategies to communicate the subject matter to diverse students
• Evaluate student performance fairly and consistently and return marks promptly
• Provide feedback to students on their performance
• Maintain accurate attendance records
• Ensure classrooms are left clean and orderly after each class
• Support the admissions team by answering questions from potential students about the program and future career prospects
• Participate in scheduled meetings and annual events like graduation
• Maintain confidentiality of student information

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Paralegal
• One year of teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional business attire
• Immigration experience is an asset

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer competitive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
