We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ridge Meadows Hospital in Maple Ridge, B.C. This is a Relief Part Time position available until approximately March 15th, 2025 or Return of Incumbent.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs to identify problems and develop a comprehensive plan of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the interprofessional team to promote patient autonomy, respect, dignity, and access to information.
- Provide teaching and promote chronic disease self-management to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documents care provided.
- Initiate discharge planning and refer patients to other disciplines as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and research to enhance patient care.
- Utilize resources effectively to deliver patient care.
Graduation from an approved school of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
Ability to assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interprofessional team.
