Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Restaurant Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet customer demands and maintain a high level of service quality.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a variable schedule of 20-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
