Job Description

Job Title: Environmental Law Professor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified Environmental Law Professor to join our faculty at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental law, with significant work experience in the practice of environmental law, either in the public or private sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach university-level environmental, regulatory, or administrative law courses
  • Develop and implement curriculum for environmental law courses
  • Conduct research in environmental law and publish scholarly articles
  • Advise students on environmental law-related matters

Requirements:

  • LLB or JD degree
  • Significant work experience (5+ years) in the practice of environmental law
  • Significant work experience in administrative and regulatory law in the public sector
  • Experience teaching university-level environmental, regulatory, or administrative law courses
