Job Summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grocery Clerk. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and display of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandise Management: Receive, examine, and store merchandise in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and displayed.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist with receiving, storing, and retrieving merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Certifications: Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License considered an asset.
