We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Leafmedx Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Consultation and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough consultations with patients, evaluate their physical and mental health, and develop effective treatment plans.
- Vaccination and Prevention: Administer vaccinations and provide guidance on disease prevention and management.
- Patient Education: Offer patients personalized advice on healthcare and wellness.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure excellent patient care.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to relevant authorities.
- Advocacy and Coordination: Act as a patient advocate, coordinate primary care, and provide acute care management.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Work Setting: Clinic environment.
- Certifications and Licenses: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), and provincial or territorial licensure.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, and interpersonal awareness.
1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
Permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth of our organization.
