About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Sushi California. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are in good working order.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive and memorable dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
