Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled line cook to join our team at Cora Breakfast and Lunch Sherwood Park. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as supervising kitchen staff and maintaining inventory and records.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
