Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Out of the Box Packaging Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment and stationary industrial machinery
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in maintenance and repair techniques
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Supervise other workers and estimate costs and materials for maintenance projects
  • Perform routine maintenance work on machinery and operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and install machinery and equipment
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment and commission systems and components
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • On-site work required; no remote work option available
