Job Summary

MYHEALTH MEDICAL CLINIC is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a physician's office or hospital/medical facility or clinic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects
  • Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files
  • Take vital signs and provide safety and health education to individuals and their families
  • Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
