Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painting Contractor to join our team at IG Painting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects, supervising workers, and ensuring the highest quality results.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate painting projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Estimate costs, materials, and labor requirements for painting projects, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies, managing inventory and logistics.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting or a related field.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work environment is primarily outdoors, with occasional work in commercial, residential, restoration, and shopwork settings.
