Job Title: Painting Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Painting Supervisor to join our team at IG Painting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing painting projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on site.
  • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Work in a commercial, residential, restoration, or shopwork setting.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
