We are seeking a highly skilled Pipefitter Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Mondelēz International. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for independently operating and maintaining process equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain process equipment and systems, adhering to autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and best practices.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, adjustments, and repairs, to ensure equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Identify and report potential issues or losses in equipment and systems, and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to implement machine modifications and install new equipment and production systems.
- Work closely with operating colleagues to ensure high-quality products are produced while maintaining budgeted efficiencies.
- Ensure all products meet GMP and food safety requirements.
- Steamfitter/Pipefitter License 307A or 4th Class Stationary Engineer Certification.
- At least 2 years of experience operating and maintaining steam and chillers.
- Proven welding experience (Brazing, Stick, and MIG welding).
- Ability to work in hot and humid conditions for extended periods.
- Initiative, good communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet physical demands of lifting and maneuvering heavy objects.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- This position occurs in a food manufacturing setting (plant environment).
- Exposure to noise, raw materials, some dust, and variable temperatures is common.
- The use of personal protective equipment is required, particularly protective footwear and hearing protection as well as hard hats and safety glasses when required.
