You will independently operate and maintain equipment and systems following autonomous maintenance standards, applying your technical skills to improve line and system performance and meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute standard work processes on equipment using AM and PM standards.
- Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.
- Report losses in the area and equipment.
Requirements
- Steamfitter/Pipefitter License (307A) or 4th Class Stationary Engineer Certification.
- + 2 years of experience operating and maintaining steam and chillers.
- Proven welding experience (Brazing, Stick, and MIG welding).
Working Conditions
- This position occurs in a food manufacturing setting (plant environment).
- Exposure to noise, raw materials, some dust, and variable temperatures is common.
About This Role
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining, diagnosing issues, and repairing steam and chiller systems. You will also be responsible for performing safety inspections, lubricating, and making repairs or adjustments on machines as required.
