Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Save-On-Foods. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering quality patient care and contributing to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy, ensuring that all medications and supplies are properly stocked and managed.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Stay current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry, including new medications and clinical opportunities, to provide the best possible care for our patients.
  • Offer private consultations to patients, providing personalized advice and guidance on their medication and health needs.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll, to manage patient records and pharmacy operations efficiently.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required, to provide specialized care for patients with opioid use disorder.
  • Additional training or certifications are considered an asset, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
