About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Arts Technician to join our team at Limelight Signs & Design Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for transforming digitized images, designing and laying out pages, and ensuring the highest quality output for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Image Transformation: Utilize retouching systems, graphic palettes, and specialized software to transform digitized images.
  • Design and Layout: Design and lay out pages for print and digital media, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Print Production: Set type for printing, produce project designs, and arrange for project printing and publication.
  • Quality Control: Monitor printing machines during print runs and make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality output.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers and other team members to ensure seamless production and delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in graphic arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Windows, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat Reader; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
