Job Title: Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SIDCO GLOBAL TRADE INC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the work of maintenance staff, including tilesetters, floor covering installers, and labourers, to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare Reports and Estimates: Prepare production and other reports, estimate costs and materials, and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit and hire workers, train or arrange for training, and recommend personnel actions.
  • Coordinate Scheduling: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, including inspections, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Commercial, warehouse, and maintenance environments.
