Job Overview

SIDCO GLOBAL TRADE INC is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory levels.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
