Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and professional PHP developer to join our team as a Senior PHP Software Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior PHP Software Developer, you will work closely with our Scrum team to ensure factual work estimates. You will also periodically exercise code-review and collaborate with other developers. Additionally, you will rectify and produce production support, as well as produce clear and consistent updates around solutions and time estimates to client-facing program management teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have less than one year of experience required. You should also have experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. Candidates who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments will be the best fit for this position. Additionally, candidates with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., will be the best fit for this position. Prior work with API design is also preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of MySQL and well-founded grasp of PHP are required. Knowledge of SQL and proficiency in SQL Queries are also necessary. RESTful Service experience is also a plus. We are particularly looking for candidates with familiarity with Scrum. We are particularly looking for candidates with knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF. This position requires familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database).
