Job Summary
The Clinical Psychologist will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient mental health setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct group therapy sessions, and provide consultation to other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, and group therapy
- Provide consultation to other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct group therapy sessions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy
- Document assessments, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field
- Registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient mental health setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy and other evidence-based treatments
