Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ongoing operations of endpoint services, ensuring high availability and efficient system deployment.
  • Coordinate activities across IT Operations teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Establish and implement operational procedures and standards for endpoint management.
  • Design and develop roadmaps based on technology lifecycles and changing business requirements.

Technical Leadership

  • Analyze and design strategies for continuous deployment and high availability.
  • Implement desktop operating system images, Windows application packages, and task sequences.
  • Conduct technical research and development, and proof of concept activities.
  • Develop and implement patch management and application deployment strategies.

System Analysis and Enhancements

  • Lead the cycle of identification, testing, pilot, and deployment of security and quality updates.
  • Participate in researching, designing, and implementing desktop hardware, software, and end-user peripheral technologies.
  • Assess risk and business impact of technical change and work with stakeholders to mitigate.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Monitor key system performance metrics and trends, taking corrective action as necessary.

Administration and Compliance

  • Develop solutions and processes for supporting and monitoring hardware assets.
  • Administer and maintain endpoint management systems, including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Lead the development of standards and operating procedures, and review compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Five years' experience in endpoint management, preferably in an IT Operations role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, providing guidance and on-the-job training.

Estimated Salary Range: $47,520 - $52,710 per annum
