We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Carpenter to join our team at MacJac Construction. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial construction, and gain hands-on experience in the trade.

Job Summary:

The Apprentice Carpenter will assist experienced carpenters in the construction of buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work safely at heights.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the construction of buildings, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Work safely at heights and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Assist in the installation of windows, doors, and other fixtures
  • Participate in pre-apprenticeship and level one apprenticeship training
  • Develop skills in carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work safely at heights
  • Excellent communication skills
