We are seeking a highly skilled Master Carpenter and Construction Specialist to join our team at Trillian Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to carpentry, construction, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Scheduling and co-ordinating work on sites
  • Instructing apprentices
  • Maintaining, repairing and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in carpentry and construction
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.
