Barber Stylist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber Stylist to provide exceptional haircuts and barbering services to our clients at Tommy Gun's Barber Shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions to deliver personalized services.
  • Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to clients' face shapes and tastes, showcasing creativity and talent.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality technical skills in all areas of cutting, including clipper cuts with fades, natural necklines, texturing, and customization to client needs and hair type.
  • Build strong relationships with loyal clients and remember their hairstyle preferences to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tidiness of grooming stations and sterilizing tools as needed.
  • Maximize retail opportunities through effective chair education and communication with clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Barber Stylist with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and understand their needs.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and sterilization practices in a barber shop setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficiency in various hair cutting techniques and styles, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
