Barber/Stylist Opportunity at Tommy Gun's Barber Shop

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Stylist to provide exceptional haircuts and barbering services to our clients. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and talent while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers, understand their preferences, and recommend hairstyles and haircuts tailored to their face shape and taste.
  • Demonstrate consistent high-quality technical skill in all areas of cutting, including clipper cuts with fades, natural necklines, texturing, and customization to client needs and hair type.
  • Build strong relationships with loyal customers, remembering their hairstyle preferences and providing personalized service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring the tidiness of grooming stations and sterilizing tools as needed.
  • Maximize retail opportunities by effectively educating guests on chair sales and promoting our products.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Barber/Stylist with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of diverse clients.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and sterilization practices in a barber shop setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in various hair cutting techniques and styles, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
