Job Title: Maintenance Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at the Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Pincher Creek, Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's maintenance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance tasks within the hotel, ensuring that all interior and exterior areas are kept safe and well-maintained.
  • Carry out repairs on hotel equipment and buildings, and ensure that all maintenance requests are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate daily activities and schedules of all maintenance staff, and ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all maintenance staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets, and ensure that all maintenance expenses are properly accounted for.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with hotel operations and goals.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year experience in a maintenance-related position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols, and ability to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
