About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installation Specialist to join our team at Moisan Portes de Garage. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of garage doors and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Trucks: Safely load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring that all materials are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Utilize Hand and Power Tools: Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform installation tasks, including but not limited to, drills, saws, and wrenches.
  • Installation and Repair: Install and repair garage doors, openers, and related equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to changing weather conditions and physical demands.
Requirements
  • Education: Possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field of garage door installation and repair.
  • Work Setting: Work in a construction or installation setting, with frequent exposure to heavy loads and physical demands.
  • Area of Specialization: Doors, overhead.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, with frequent exposure to heavy loads, repetitive tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctual, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
