We are seeking an experienced Meat Specialist to join our team at Cornerview Family Foods.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week in a cold/refrigerated work environment. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in the meat industry and a strong attention to detail.
The Meat Specialist will be responsible for cleaning meats to prepare for processing or cutting, preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers, and cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat.
Other responsibilities include wrapping and packaging prepared meats, removing bones from meat, weighing meats for sale, cutting poultry into parts, pricing meat products, selling meats to customers, and preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
Key Responsibilities- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts

This role offers a competitive salary range between $40,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a stable work environment, opportunities for advancement, and a comprehensive benefits package.
