Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Safeway Kenora. As a Deli Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional food shopping experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing hot and cold food items, operating commercial power equipment, and providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present hot and cold food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups
  • Operate commercial power equipment, such as slicers, fryers, and ovens
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process cash register payments and handle customer transactions
  • Offer product samples to customers and promote sales
