Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team at Little Munchkin Daycare as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced educators to develop and implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
Requirements:
  • Criminal record check.
  • Immunization records.
Work Environment:
  • Public transportation is available.
Physical Demands:
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
