Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairstylist to join our team at MOONLIGHT DAY SPA INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring hair. They will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, as well as provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and recommend suitable services
  • Book appointments and manage client schedules
  • Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatments, including shampooing, conditioning, and styling
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions and perform other hair styling techniques
  • Suggest hair styles compatible with client physical features and preferences
  • Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and handling client inquiries
  • Maintain and order supplies, including hair care products and equipment
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in the hair care industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with frequent client interactions
  • Repetitive tasks, including cutting and styling hair
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
