Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and making a positive impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct patient assessments to prescribe new medications or extend existing medications
- Provide travel health consultations and chronic disease management via medication reviews
- Administer medications by injection and perform point of care screening/swabs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to establish circles of care for patients
- Counsel patients on prescription medication use and provide dispensary and pharmacy workflow activity
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Alberta Pharmacist License
- Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) certification or currently pursuing certification
- Injection Certification required
- Minimum level C First Aid certification
- Additional accreditations are an asset (e.g., CDE, CRE, CTH, etc.)
- Knowledge of HealthWATCH pharmacy software an asset
