Application Security Specialist

Cambio Healthcare Systems AB is seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in embedding security within our development processes and solutions.
About the Role:We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented individual with a software engineering background and a strong passion for cybersecurity. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks in complex software systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the adoption of security best practices and design secure architectures for new solutions
- Shape the security posture of existing systems and spearhead initiatives to enhance security awareness across all teams
- Enhance Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST) capabilities and security automation
- Manage Third-Party Component security governance and cyber security risks
- Proficiency in DevOps, DAST, SAST, and security hardening techniques
- Experience with automation tools and processes in a security context
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and application security best practices
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or information security
We offer a permanent employment contract with a 6-month trial period. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from home, but you are always welcome to work at the office too.
