Application Security Specialist

Cambio Healthcare Systems AB is seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a pivotal role in embedding security within the fabric of our development processes and solutions.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for driving the adoption of security best practices, designing secure architectures for new solutions, and shaping the security posture of existing systems. This includes spearheading initiatives to enhance security awareness across all teams through training and advocacy, enhancing Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (SAST/DAST) capabilities and security automation, and managing Third-Party Component security governance and cyber security risks.
About YouTo be successful in this role, we are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented individual with a software engineering background and a strong passion for cybersecurity. You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills at identifying and mitigating risks in complex software systems. Additionally, you should have proficiency in DevOps, DAST, SAST, and security hardening techniques, experience with automation tools and processes in a security context, and strong knowledge of security frameworks, risk management, and application security best practices.
