About the Role

Stripe is a leading financial infrastructure platform, and we're seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our Threat Detection Team. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in simulating real-world cyber attacks and developing resilient defenses to protect our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute advanced adversary simulation exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of our security controls and incident response plans.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of threat actor profiles and simulation scenarios to inform our security strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation findings into our security policies and procedures.
  • Design, build, and use custom tools and scripts to automate and enrich adversary simulation activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and advancements to ensure our simulation practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in both offensive and defensive tactics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting advanced penetration tests, adversary simulations, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including advanced attack vectors and countermeasures.
