About the Role

Stripe is a leading financial infrastructure platform, and we're seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our Threat Detection Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a dual role in both attacking and defending our digital assets, executing advanced adversary simulations, and assessing the resilience of our networks, systems, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute sophisticated adversary simulation exercises to evaluate and improve our security controls and incident response plans.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of threat actor profiles and simulation scenarios to enhance our defensive posture.
  • Integrate findings from adversary simulations into security strategies, ensuring our organization remains ahead of emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine security policies and procedures, fortifying defenses based on simulation feedback.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and advancements, ensuring our adversary simulation practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with demonstrated expertise in both offensive and defensive tactics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in conducting advanced penetration tests, adversary simulations, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Deep understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including advanced attack vectors and countermeasures.
