Job Title: Development Manager
Job Summary:
The Development Manager is a key role at BC Housing, responsible for leading the development of complex and diverse social, affordable, and mixed-market housing projects. This position requires strong project management skills, knowledge of real estate development and construction, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of social, affordable, and mixed-market housing projects from initiation to completion.
- Provide project leadership and coordination to a project team.
- Work collaboratively with project sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure that all due diligence requirements have been considered and completed.
- Develop and manage collaborative relationships with stakeholders, partners, and interest groups.
Requirements:
- University degree in business administration, project management, land use planning, or real estate development and financing.
- Considerable project management experience in real estate development and construction.
- Strong knowledge of project management philosophies, theories, and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex issues and make effective decisions.
