Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Seasonal Stores. Key responsibilities include supporting the Store Manager in staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Support in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff members
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain visual merchandise displays and ensure an attractive store environment
- Participate in controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of inventory control
Requirements
To succeed as an Assistant Store Manager at Spirit Halloween, you must have prior retail management experience and meet the following requirements:
Physical Demands:
- Stand for 8+ hours per day
- Walk extensively throughout the store
- Climb ladders to reach high shelves
- Set up fixtures and displays
- Lift/move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends
