We are seeking a skilled Swamper to join our team at Hofer Transport Inc. as a Truck Transport Labourer. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Trucks and Delivery Drivers

Provide support to our drivers and delivery teams to load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Perform Labouring Duties in Warehouses

Carry out various tasks in our warehouses, including receiving and storing goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Provide Excellent Customer Service

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.

Work Environment and Conditions
  • Cold/Refrigerated Work Environment

Work in a cold or refrigerated environment, requiring you to be comfortable in a temperature-controlled setting.

Handling Heavy Loads

Regularly lift, carry, and move heavy loads, requiring physical strength and endurance.

Physically Demanding Work

Perform tasks that require physical effort, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Repetitive Tasks

Perform repetitive tasks, such as loading and unloading goods, requiring attention to detail and focus.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate as a minimum educational requirement.

2 Years to Less than 3 Years of Experience

Have at least 2 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of transportation and logistics principles.

Physical Capabilities

Be physically capable of performing tasks that require heavy lifting, bending, and repetitive movements.

Work Term and Language
