Job Summary

:

We are seeking a Site Manager to oversee maintenance, turnarounds, and strategic projects in our Regina, Saskatchewan region. The successful candidate will hold a leadership role and be responsible for achieving expected results.

Key Responsibilities

:
  • Manage site teams and various trade disciplines to ensure safe work environments.
  • Lead and oversee safety onsite, including ensuring compliance with company, federal, and provincial safety rules.
  • Conduct regular audit reviews for compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Develop strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Identify opportunities for effectiveness and standardization of methods to improve margins.
  • Ensure teams are working to build efficiencies, improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and follow LEAN principles.
  • Assist in identifying strategy for sales opportunities, developing plans, reviewing budgets, and participating in client presentations.
  • Manage all operational aspects of the job, including labor, equipment, consumables, materials, asset management, and sub-contract requirements.
  • Develop project plans, such as mobilization, construction execution, workforce management, change management, EH&S, demobilization, and quality management.
  • Maintain, track, and report all financial aspects of the site, including forecasts, key KPIs, revenue recognition, and billings.
  • Utilize STS to maintain accurate records related to inventory, billed work, hours worked, productivity, services produced, and services purchased.
  • Monitor site performance through regular reviews and lead site meetings to support ongoing progression.
  • Evaluate, monitor, and report contract operating performance data to senior management, subordinate managers, and employees.
  • Ensure potential contractual and project risks are properly identified at bidding stage and managed/mitigated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide strong leadership to team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths.
  • Conduct effective performance evaluations and provide mentorship.

Qualifications

:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar supervisory or management role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
  • Knowledge of maintenance terms, scheduling and planning concepts, engineering drawings, contracts, change control, and document control.
  • Ability to understand and interpret contracts.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate branch office business strategy and corresponding operating procedures to all levels within the branch.
  • Strong leadership abilities to inspire and coach employees to accomplish strategic goals and related tasks.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
