Parking Ambassador Job Description

The Parking Ambassador is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and guests. This role requires a friendly and welcoming demeanor, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a traffic controller, directing incoming guests to available parking spaces and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.
  • Perform vehicle counts throughout the shift to ensure the garage does not overfill available spaces.
  • Issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors who violate garage policies.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Manager or Operations.
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns, and relay information to the Manager.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including email, data entry, and monthly parking account management.
  • Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and teammates.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
