We are VERB Interactive, a digital marketing agency based in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our global clients offer exciting opportunities to collaborate with renowned destinations, resorts, and travel brands.

To support our growth, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Software Integration Specialist.

As an integral member of our team, you will develop API services for our enterprise products. Your expertise will enable us to deliver robust technical solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with third-party web service providers to create reusable integrations.
  • Design and implement software architecture patterns to optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Develop and maintain reusable code libraries, ensuring adherence to internal development standards.
  • Demonstrate complex solutions through clear documentation and visual aids, such as flowcharts, layouts, and diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and debug intricate issues spanning multiple systems and vendors.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the team, stakeholders, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with PHP frameworks, preferably LAMP-stack technologies and Symfony.
  • Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with modern PHP development practices, including Composer and PHP7+.
  • Experience with API development tools like Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
  • Working knowledge of CI processes, including automated testing.
  • Proficiency in version control systems, Git, and Gitlab.

Compensation Package
