About the Role:

CSA Group is seeking a Student to join our Water Quality and Exposure team in Toronto for an 8-month term. As a Student in this role, you will work alongside and learn from our Water Quality laboratory technicians, building core project management and technical skills needed for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal lab work, processes, and project delivery
  • Gain knowledge and familiarity of laboratory Test Measurement Equipment and standards
  • Review and understand customer product data specifications
  • Prepare technical documents and certification documents
  • Participate in efficiency improvements and development of test forms
  • Learn and participate in a robust ISO 17025 Quality Assurance program

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in the Physical Sciences Program (Chemistry, Biology, Chemical, Toxicology etc.) or Engineering (Chemical or Environmental)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based lab environment
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, follow-through, and evaluate assigned functions and duties
